Ted Eugene Boyle papers, circa 1965-1971.

This collection consists of Ted Eugene Boyle's papers accumulated while he was a professor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His papers include lecture notes and handouts for various undergraduate and graduate courses that Boyle taught. The collection also includes research proposals and various article drafts that he composed. There is a galley proof, as well as a book draft of "Brendan Behan" Also included are various reading lists, bibliographies, and syllabi for his courses at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Ted Eugene Boyle was a professor in the Department of English at Southern Illinois University, where he started in 1963. He obtained three degrees while attending the University of Nebraska, where he earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy. Before coming to Southern Illinois University, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska.
